Ilfracombe Watersports Centre
Construction of a new watersports centre at Larkstone Cove, Ilfracombe. The centre, which includes teaching area, cafe/bar, boat and gig storage and showers, also has a separate canoe club storage building incorporating showers.
The project included the construction of a new sea wall, extension of existing quay and a new slipway.
Procurement was via traditional tender and the contract was the JCT Standard Building Contract with Quantities, 2016 edition.
Hills role on this project was Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveyor.
The project could not have been achieved without everyone seeing and buying into the vision....it was a great team effort.
