Edmonds v Lawson Developments

Geoff Hanna successfully acted as expert witness on behalf of Lawson Developments in a claim against the TV personality Noel Edmonds.

In a case held in the High Court of Justice, Queen’s Bench Division, Technology and Construction Court, in front of His Honour Judge David Wilcox, Geoff was able to provide professional evidence that caused Judge Wilcox to comment that “the data giving rise to the costs base is in my judgement accurate and has been demonstrated to be so by the meticulous investigation of Mr Hanna”.

Geoff is employed by a number of local and national lawyers as an expert witness on a single joint basis and also as a party-appointed expert, working with a number of blue chip clients on high profile cases.  Geoff is the current Chairman of the Western Counties Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and he gives talks to lawyers on what expert witnesses expect from them when they are instructed.
