Tri-Link Park, Wakefield

Hills were Project Monitoring Surveyor for the construction of a new-build speculative high bay distribution warehouse facility for subsequent letting at Wakefield Europark, Yorkshire.

The facility comprised 142,000 square feet of warehouse accommodation with an associated first floor open plan office, reception area, stairs, lift and staff facilities.

The Developer was Tri-Link 140 LLP, being a joint venture between Kier Property and Yorvale Properties Limited.

The warehouse facility was undertaken within this contract as a shell to be subsequently fitted out by the eventual tenant to their particular operational requirements.

An extensive concrete service yard was provided to facilitate goods transfer via sixteen loading points including dock leveller bays. A staff car park together with landscaped perimeters was constructed to the front elevation.


Value of project


Procurement was via a single stage selective tendering using a JCT Design & Build contract.
