Maurice House, Dementia Care Unit

New build unit within grounds of an existing nursing home housing a 30-bed dementia care wing. Hills provided project management services which included the procurement of the design team, the management of the planning process, supervision of procurement and site operations, maintenance of the project risk register together with regular reporting to the project board regarding cost and programme.

Hills appointment was under a bespoke agreement and the main contract works were procured under a traditional JCT Contract.

Hills are also performed the role of CDM Co-ordinator in this project.

This is the second Dementia Care Unit we have worked on with The Royal British Legion.  The first being at Dunkirk Memorial House.  A development very similar to Maurice House.
