Robin Hart has just finished working on a stunning new house on the Heathcoat Amory family estate of Chevithorne Barton. The Green House, designed by David Sheppard Architects is a steel and timber framed three storey residential property located on a steep incline in a rural setting overlooking a lake. The foundations were piled and the property ‘steps up’ the steep slope that it is on. The external and internal finishes are a mixture of various timber substrates to echo the woodland surroundings along with self-coloured internal plaster.
HartQS provided full pre and post contract quantity surveying services, including cost estimates, tender documentation, financial reports and further advice throughout the project to the client as well as the design team.
